How buying an action online works
An action is a firearm. The receiver is the serialized part, so federal law treats it the same as a complete rifle.
That means it ships from me to a licensed dealer, an FFL, and you pick it up there. Bolts, rails and tools aren't firearms, so those ship straight to your door.
The five steps
- Pick your action. Start with the cartridge on the finder, or put every spec side by side on the comparison table. Text me if you're stuck between two.
- Pick your FFL. Any licensed dealer near you that takes transfers. Most gun shops do. If you're near Cumming, pick it up from me and skip the transfer fee.
- Order it. In stock means it's on my shelf and ships when I have your FFL on file. Out of stock means you can't order it. Put your email on the page and I'll send one message the day it's back.
- Give me your dealer at checkout. The FFL's name and address go under the shipping address. If you haven't picked one yet, text me and we'll sort it before anything ships.
- Do the transfer. Your dealer logs it in, you fill out the 4473 and pass the background check at their counter, and you take it home. Their transfer fee is theirs, not mine.
